Job Description

The Team

We are looking for an AI Skill and Automation Specialist to design, build, and deploy AI powered automation workflows that transform how Marketing Operations works. You will leverage Copilot and Claude to turn repetitive manual work into intelligent, scalable solutions. You will sit at the intersection of AI capability and business process, combining hands-on automation development with practical AI applications.

This role is central to fulfilling the mandate to embed intelligence and automation across marketing functions. You will identify inefficient processes, design solutions using Copilot, Claude, and automation platforms, and enable marketing teams to work smarter. You will report directly to the Marketing Operations leader and partner with marketing leadership, sales operations, and demand generation teams to deliver measurable business impact.

The role:

This is a hands-on role for someone who is comfortable building with AI tools, designing workflows, and solving real business problems. You will balance strategic thinking (what should we automate) with technical execution (making it work reliably). You will work in an environment where automation quality directly impacts campaign execution and where there is strong leadership commitment to AI-led transformation.

  • Identify manual, repetitive, or inefficient processes across Marketing Operations and the business; design AI or automation solutions to improve them.
  • Build, test, and maintain automated workflows using Copilot (via APIs and Copilot Studio), Power Automate, Workato, and other integration platforms, ensuring quality, reliability, and compliance.
  • Design and build practical AI solutions using Copilot and Claude APIs that automate high value marketing operations tasks (lead qualification, campaign analysis, content scoring, data enrichment, etc.).
  • Build and refine prompts and system instructions for Copilot and Claude; experiment with different techniques to improve accuracy and effectiveness for specific use cases.
  • Integrate AI models and automation tools with existing systems (Marketo, Salesforce, CRM, analytics, databases) via APIs, connectors, and webhooks; maintain data flows and integrations.
  • Design and manage AI "skills," automation patterns, and workflow templates for internal use; ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency.
  • Monitor deployed solutions for performance, errors, and data quality issues; iterate and refine to keep systems reliable and effective.
  • Create documentation, playbooks, and reusable templates so solutions can scale; maintain runbooks for common automation and use AI patterns.
  • Train and support marketing operations and demand generation teams in using AI tools effectively and responsibly; deliver enablement programs on new capabilities.
  • Evaluate Copilot and Claude for different use cases; understand their relative strengths and limitations; recommend which platform is best suited for specific automation tasks.
  • Partner with marketing leadership, sales operations, and cross functional stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions; communicate across technical and non-technical audiences.

What You'll bring:

  • 5-8 years of hands-on experience in automation, AI implementation, process improvement, or related technical roles.
  • Hands-on experience with workflow automation platforms (e.g., Power Automate, Workato, Zapier, Make) and integration design.
  • Practical experience with AI/LLM tools; strong prompt engineering skills and ability to craft effective prompts for different business tasks.
  • Experience with APIs, webhooks, and system integration; ability to design and troubleshoot API-based workflows and data flows.
  • Basic scripting ability (e.g., Python, JavaScript) to extend automation beyond no-code tools when needed.
  • Strong analytical skills; ability to map business processes, identify inefficiencies, and design solutions that create measurable impact.
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences and translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with Copilot, Azure OpenAI APIs, or Microsoft AI ecosystems.
  • Hands-on experience with Copilot Studio or Power Automate cloud flows for AI integration.
  • Experience with Claude API; familiarity with how Claude differs from Copilot for specific use cases.
  • Experience building multi-step automation workflows that orchestrate data, logic, and external system calls.
  • Knowledge of data privacy, security, and AI governance best practices; familiarity with compliance requirements.
  • Experience with marketing technology, CRM systems (Marketo, Salesforce), or sales operations.
  • Experience delivering training or enablement programs; comfort teaching non-technical stakeholders how to use new tools.(empty)
