Cybersecurity Engineer

Job Description

We are currently seeking a focused, highly skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be integral to establishing robust security architectures and achieving critical program milestones tied to compliance, verification, and timely product releases. Your ultimate objective will be ensuring that a comprehensive Cybersecurity Case is compiled without gaps before final customer release.

Requirements

• Proven hands-on experience in automotive or embedded cybersecurity engineering.
• Strong working knowledge of relevant industry standards, particularly ISO/SAE 21434.
• Solid experience working with foundational inputs like Item Definitions and TARA (Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment).
• Familiarity with requirements management systems and formal verification/review processes.
• Strong ability to self-assess task complexity, estimate engineering effort, and deliver work autonomously with focus and precision.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with demonstrated experience collaborating closely with customer engineering teams.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct cybersecurity threat analyses and risk assessments (TARA) across supported programs.
• Develop detailed Cybersecurity Specifications outlining every component of the cybersecurity concept.
• Support ongoing verification and documentation efforts, ensuring all specifications are reviewed according to status in the requirements management system.
• Review various cybersecurity work products to identify and close any gaps in cybersecurity design or verification.
• Help drive program goals by resolving challenges around the timely delivery of cybersecurity engineering deliverables.
• Ensure all evidence and documentation are ready for seamless compilation of the final Cybersecurity Case prior to release.
