Role: Data Analyst / BI Developer (4-7 Years)
Location: Bangalore (preferable) /Noida (acceptable)
About the Role
We are looking for a Data Analyst/BI Developer with 4-7 years of experience to build
scalable analytics solutions and drive insights from large datasets. You will work
across the data stack; from querying big data platforms to building executive
dashboards.
Key Responsibilities
 Data Extraction & Analysis: Write optimized SQL to query large-scale data
on Snowflake, Hive, and Presto/Trino. Handle billions of rows efficiently.
 Python for Data: Use Python (Pandas, NumPy, PySpark) for data wrangling,
automation and ad-hoc analysis. Build reusable scripts for data validation and
transformation.
 BI & Visualization: Design and maintain dashboards in Power BI. Work with
other BI tools like Tableau/Metabase as needed.
 Notebook Collaboration: Use Notebooks for exploratory analysis,
documentation and sharing insights with stakeholders.
 Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with product, account and engineering
teams to understand requirements, translate them into data models and
deliver actionable insights.
 Performance: Identify query bottlenecks and optimize for cost + runtime on
cloud data warehouses.
Must-Have Skills
 Experience: 4-7 years in data analytics, BI, or data engineering roles.
 SQL: Advanced SQL - window functions, CTEs, query tuning, approx_distinct,
handling semi-structured data.
 Big Data Querying: Hands-on with Snowflake + at least one of Hive,
Presto/Trino, SparkSQL.
 Python: Strong in Pandas/NumPy for data manipulation, automation and API
integrations.
 BI Tools: Expert in Power BI (DAX, M Query, Power Query, data modeling).
Exposure to Tableau/Metabase is a plus.
Good to Have
 Experience with Jenkins, Airflow or similar orchestration tools
 Knowledge of AWS
 Understanding of data governance and data quality frameworks
Qualifications
 B.E/B.Tech/MCA/M.Sc in Computer Science, Statistics or a related field or
similar experience
 Strong communication skills to explain technical findings to non-technical
audiences
