Electrical Designer

The opportunity:

The successful candidate will be part of the Local Engineering Team, with a strong specialization in power transformer design, supporting projects across various countries.

How you'll make an impact:

• Responsible for developing transformer electrical designs in accordance with customer specification, applicable standards and Hitachi Energy standard, coordinating with relevant stakeholders, and managing design activities across various transformer electrical engineering disciplines.
• Responsible for optimizing transformer designs in accordance with customer specifications and applicable standards, performing design calculations, and preparing technical and purchasing drawings for procurement activities.
• Review transformer designs, participate in and conduct internal design review meeting, and lead customer design review meetings to ensure technical compliance, design quality, and alignment with project requirements.
• Prepare, check, and upload Bills of Materials (BOMs) into ERP systems, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.
• Product inspection during manufacturing process
• Product inspections during the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements.

Your background:

• Bachelor Degree of Electrical Engineering.
• More than 2 years’ experience working in Power Transformers industry.
• Further experience in electrical design for power transformers would be an advantage.
• Knowledge of power transformer electrical design principles, including thermal performance, dielectric design, short-circuit withstand capability, and sound (noise) performance, would be considered an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and related engineering and business tools
• Good attitude organized and thorough & high accountability.
• Good communication skills in Thai and English Language oral and written form.
