The opportunity

Want to help our customers succeed with some of the world's most advanced energy technologies?

Customer Training is a key deliverable within our HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) projects, ensuring that customers gain the knowledge and skills required to safely operate and maintain their systems long after project completion.

As a Customer Training Manager, you will own and coordinate the customer training deliverable from tender to final project delivery. Working closely with customers, project teams, technical experts, trainers, suppliers, and other stakeholders, you will ensure that training activities are planned, coordinated, and successfully delivered according to customer requirements.

You will join a global and growing team where collaboration, customer focus, continuous improvement, and digital innovation are key parts of how we work and develop.

Please note that this is not a technical specialist role. However, an interest in technology and a willingness to continuously learn and develop technical understanding will help you succeed in the role.

How you'll make an impact

  • Drive the successful delivery of customer training throughout the HVDC project lifecycle.
  • Transform customer requirements into structured training scope, plans, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate customers, project teams, technical experts, trainers, and suppliers to ensure effective and timely training delivery.
  • Maintain visibility and control of training progress, risks, costs, commitments, and documentation throughout project execution.
  • Apply and support a range of training methods and technologies, including classroom, virtual, and e-learning solutions, to create effective customer learning experiences.
  • Strengthen Customer Training through continuous improvement of processes, systems, digital learning solutions, and ways of working.

Your background

  • Experience in managing projects, coordinating activities, or driving deliverables across multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow actions through to completion.
  • A proactive and structured way of working, including the ability to identify risks, solve problems, and drive progress independently.
  • Strong digital skills, curiosity, and the ability to quickly learn and effectively use new tools, systems, and technologies.
  • A customer-focused mindset with the ability to build effective working relationships across customers, suppliers, technical experts, and project teams.
  • Experience from project delivery, training, digital learning, engineering, energy, or other customer-facing environments is considered an advantage.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), digital learning platforms, and other business systems is beneficial.
  • As this is a global team, excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken, are essential.

Additional information

  • Permanent position based in Västerås or Ludvika, Sweden.
  • Some domestic and international travel may be required.
  • Work in a global environment with customers, suppliers, and colleagues across multiple countries and time zones.
  • Opportunity to contribute to the development of digital learning, new training methods, and continuous improvement initiatives.
