Java Architect (Finance)

Job Description

We are looking for a Java Architect to join a long-term collaboration with one of Romania’s leading banks and play a key role in shaping the architecture of modern banking solutions.

In this role, you will work across several projects in the financial domain, helping design and evolve scalable IT systems that support digital banking. You will collaborate closely with the client, business stakeholders, and technology teams, providing architectural guidance and making key technical decisions.

You will also help drive the evolution of the bank’s IT architecture in line with its IT Strategy, evaluate and select technologies, and ensure that new solutions fit seamlessly into the existing architecture. A key part of the role will be the cross-alignment between the Information Systems and Technology Division and the Business Intelligence and Reporting Competence Center.

You will work in an Agile/Scrum environment and have the opportunity to influence architectural decisions across multiple projects while working closely with experienced stakeholders on the client side.
