Talent Attraction & Employee Engagement Manager helping to communicate our Global Employer Value Proposition (EVP), which is aimed at creating an ideal candidate experience that translates into a great employee experience.

This person will capture the needs of the Regions and work alongside with  Internal Communication, Regional Talent Acquisition teams to ensure that our messaging, campaigns, and deliverables work cohesively to deliver a positive, consistent, and competitive EVP that positions Hitachi Rail as an employer of choice.  

The Talent Attraction & Employee Engagement Specialist will work in Team with CSR & Sustainability Department and not only, giving value and emphasize the various projects and improvements already achieved by the company whose primary purpose is the well-being of the employee.

Taking the projects already carried out as base line he/she will identify new possible ideas to contribute substantially to the turnover decrease.

This position will report to the Director of Talent Acquisition & Employee Engagement.
 

Responsibilities:

Ensure RSBU’s employee wellbeing support, employee engagement and the enhancement of employee experience through:

• Introducing and monitoring new ways of working in order to improve employee engagement.
• Using the outcomes of the annual Hitachi Survey to emphasize strength and meantime support Director of TA & Employee Engagement the design an action plan for the weakness in collaboration with the Region HR and Managers.
• Support the design and monitor the execution of a new HR Employee lifecycle process taking into consideration key dimensions like wellbeing and overall employee’s satisfaction, to improve overall employee experience, in line with all Group HR main processes and business needs.
• Contribute to the definition and implement an employee engagement strategy that cultivates a positive, open and innovative culture
• Coordinate and manage employee-focused meetings and events
• Partnering with all departments and levels to ensure we’re creating the right experiences for employees at every step of their journey

          Ensure RSBU’s Talent Acquisition process implementation through:

• Leverage internal and external data to provide deep analysis and insight
• Providing continuous learning to the Talent Acquisition in the Regions for the improvement of the Hitachi Rail Talent Attraction
• Digitalization of the Process to speed up in a qualitative way the screening phase
• Conducting annual surveys and design structured Ambassador program to improve the candidate and hiring manager’s journey
• Contribute to the design of the Hitachi Rail Early Career and Vocational School Strategy to attract the best Talent via the University/Schools Partnerships.
• Cooperate with Regional Talent Acquisition Team to advertise the Hitachi Rail Employer Branding

Skills and Knowledge:

• Bachelor's degree, preferably with a concentration in digital marketing, public relations, or communications
• 5-10 years of talent attraction and recruitment experience with a focus on recruitment marketing, candidate communications and/or recruitment advertising environment preferred; or a combination of education and relative work experience
• Experience working with project management and adobe creative suite software, a plus
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to present at all levels of the organization
• Ability to maintain a high level of attention to detail with solid organizational, time management and project management skills
• Ability to oversee a high performing team in a fast-paced environment with basic guidance and the ability to produce results
• Strategic thinker who will partner with cross-functional teams to develop strategies supporting initiatives for building awareness, attracting and recruiting talent
