Strengthening category management & support OBU for cost reduction through sourcing.
Duties and Responsibilities:
(a) Request as per Hitachi Business units Supplier sourcing RFQ, Cost analysis, (b) Comparison preparation. Price finalization & contracting.
(c) Drive Hitachi spend consolidation for both direct & indirect commodities.
2. Category management:
(a) Capability to drive category management of direct & indirect commodity.
(b) Coordinate for OBU spend data collection & analysis, frame strategy & supplier relation management in coordination with HQ-VID.
(c) Frame & drive strategy to get aligned with Hitachi RVHQ KPI.
10 ~ 15 years’ Experience in localization, sourcing, category management.
Good communication, analytical skills, logical thinking & presentation skills.
Experience in working for category/commodity management domain.
Worked in supply chain management department of any manufacturing plant.
Exposure in working with Japanese companies.
