Hitachi Europe Ltd, a subsidiary of Hitachi Ltd. based in United Kingdom is representing the Hitachi Group in EMEA. Hitachi Europe Ltd. and its subsidiaries offer a wide range of IT and telecommunications systems, industrial, and energy systems (including nuclear energy), railway systems, digital media and consumer products, industrial components, air conditioning and cooling solutions, production systems, and procurement services, operating in 13 countries in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Hitachi Europe has been operating in Poland since 2007.

Due to Hitachi's planned expansion in Poland and the CEE region, we are looking for professionals for the following position:

Sales Manager (m/f/d) – Energy & Industrial

1. Duties and responsibilities:

  • Active sale of Hitachi solutions, products and services in Energy and Industry sector (direct, indirect) in Poland, Czech Republic and Slovakia

  • Development of new business areas for the needs of the energy and industry sector in area of IT, green energy, asset management and predictive maintenance

  • Close cooperation with Hitachi Group companies responsible for various product lines and building One Hitachi synergies to the market

  • Development of B2B business relationships

  • On-going analysis of market trends and customer needs

  • Building and maintaining a customers and partnership network for Hitachi

  • Preparation of development and sales reports

  • Preparation of public tender responses/RFP/RFI

  • Preparation of sales materials

  • Building and nurturing relationships with current clients and providing exceptional customer service on a daily basis

2. Required qualifications:

  • Completed higher education

  • Business relations - own customer network in energy and industry sector in Poland and CEE

  • Experience in sales and business development in B2B

  • Proven sales achievements related to previously held positions (independent sale of projects of significant value)

  • Experience in working in an international environment and English language enabling easy communication in speech and writing

  • Expert knowledge in the field of energy and / or industrial issues

  • Knowledge of public procurement law (PZP)

  • Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) at the professional level

  • High level of motivation, focus on effect, organization

  • Optimism and flexibility in the implementation of complex tasks

  • Ability to work in a team and to work under time pressure

  • Resistance to stress

  • Mobility
