Project Management Officer – Hitachi Digital

The Role
The Project Management Officer (PMO) enjoys responsibility for the development of detailed project plans and manages all implementation processes including resource allocation, progress tracking, monitoring change control process, testing, documentation, training, and on-time delivery within budget constraints. Serving as the liaison between technical and non-technical teams to ensure that all targets and requirements are met you will keep leadership informed of key issues that may impact project completion, budget, or other results. You will also develop and maintain project delivery processes and ensure compliance.
This is a role with varied responsibilities which may include:
Interfacing with internal business stakeholders to understand business priorities and ensure team specific objectives are met
Defining requirements and plans for Alliance and Partner project lifecycle deployment including resources and schedule for project/program implementation
Consulting and guiding Alliance Lead in creation of strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning
Planning and scheduling project deliverables, goals, and milestones
Efficiently identifying and solves project issues, and mitigates project risks
Ensuring effective communications to all stakeholders and project members through regular steering committee and project progress forums
Maintaining an dashboard and audit-ready posture for all project deliverables
The Person
A significant and successful track record of working as a PMO gained in a global, matrix organization
Strong understanding of business processes and business applications / tools for the following is desired: Marketing, Sales, Services, Renewals, Partner, Product, Pricing, XaaS
Both business savvy and technology savvy. Ability to learn quickly in both business domain and technology domain
Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills
Experience presenting a compelling story to executive audiences
Experience with project issue tracking tools such as JIRA
Familiar with change management and training methodology
Experience in coordinating with partners such as AWS, Azure or Google
Strong analytical and system design skills, and problem-solving skills, with a track record of seeing tasks through to successful completion
Ability to break down complex problems into steps and drive product development
Highly responsive with strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
Comfort working in a technical environment and able to clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
PMI Certification is a plus
Ability to work independently, prioritize and juggle multiple deadlines and projects while keeping peers, stakeholders and supervisors abreast of activities
Self-motivated, accountable, highly organized and can prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Excel in a team environment, and must have the ability to independently complete individual tasks in a dynamic environment
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft O365 applications, specifically Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Experience with a variety of Cloud/SaaS business applications is a plus

As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Act, the expected salary for this position is $115,000 – $140,000. Pay is determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, depth of experience in the practice area. Employees are eligible to participate in Hitachi America’s variable pay program, as well as our Health and Welfare and Retirement programs, subject to the programs’ conditions and restrictions.
