Opportunity:
At this exciting time in our growth Hitachi is looking for a BDM to support internal and external customers move towards a greener future.
As the BDM, you will have an exciting opportunity to shape and deliver on a global strategy to help customers accelerate their sustainability transformations by leveraging the Hitachi products to address their needs. As a BDM you think strategically and analytically about our customer's business and technical challenges and form innovative ideas to solve them. You have a keen sense of ownership and entrepreneurship, and, most importantly, you know how to earn trust, think big, and work cross-organizationally to deliver results. You influence others to follow with data and customer advocacy.
Accountability:
Develop and deliver strategic regional initiatives aimed to Green Business Growth in Europe.
Identify opportunities for improvement or increased ambition in Europe aligned with the Hitachi’s Green Business Growth strategy
Ensure Hitachi Europe’s Green strategy remains relevant, linked, and embedded with the business strategies and direction
Seek opportunities supporting BU’s to implement strategies that will positively impact Hitachi’s green footprint in Europe.
Monitor green market trends and competitor activities in Europe, and ensure relevant intelligence is fed into Green Infrastructure Division and the wider business to influence further strategy and programme development.
Ensure Key Customers/partners relationship management with specific focus on Digital Projects, Social Innovation, Smart City, and other Innovative solutions
Ensure defined business cases and Commercial Plans are robust and justifiable, applying regional knowledge to cross check the sub-regional plans, highlighting any concerns and risks associated with the proposed plan. Monitor progress.
