What you'll be doing

As a Full Stack Developer you will have huge responsibility for the development of our global supply chain tools and applications. You will be performing a highly cross-functional role owning these critical applications. Your work will span long and short-range demand planning, supply planning, transportation, inventory, orders and fulfilment and the automation of important metrics that monitor our business, all to improve the Customer Experience.

Day to day you will:

• Improve user experience and be delivering projects on code / application performance
• Understanding and delivering ad-hoc requests for the various user groups
• Translating business requirements into technical specifications;
• Resolving a range of issues such as data pipelines, application errors etc etc

What you bring to the team

• Programming in these languages: Ruby, Ruby on Rails, SQL;
• Web/Mobile Development - Primarily Ruby on Rails and SQL, but experience with other web development technologies an advantage (i.e. JavaScript, Python, HTML/CSS/Bootstrap, Git (version control), Linux, API's;
• Linux system software knowledge (upgrades, testing, and coordination)
• Effective communication (Dutch and English at business level) and able to engage with all levels and disciplines
• Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse and emerging web technology and techniques.
