Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure customer / Internal issues are timely resolved and minimized.

  • Ensuring customer market complaints, issues and rejections are analyzed and minimized.

  • Ensuring the Quality of product at development stage.

  • Ensuring section objectives are fulfilled and necessary reporting is done.

  • Ensure adherence to IATF 16949 systems.

  • On time mass production daily lot clearance related activities.

  • Analyse defect with CFT members of rejected parts if received or the phenomena.

  • Communicate customer concerns to all concerned and follow-up for necessary actions.

  • Conduct meetings with CFT members for discussing the present situation and countermeasures for the problem.

  • Confirming analysis done at customers end for warranty parts.

  • Discussing and documenting actions for fulfilling customer’s requirement.

  • Discussing and receiving approval from section head.

  • Discussing the factors with lower rating with CFT members.

  • Ensure customer issues, complaint and rejections are intimated to all concern in company through customer flash reports and UQI.

  • Ensuring all concern system documents are revised regarding the action taken.

  • Ensuring customer complaint register is updated.

  • Ensuring that problem analysis and countermeasures are documented in prescribed formats.

  • Ensuring UQI verification is done as planned. 

  • Follow-up and monitoring with concerned persons for implementation of corrective action.

  • Intimating Section head regarding actions decided and getting approval of analysis.

  • Maintaining updated customer complaint register for all raised issues.

  • Monitoring of customer quality rating and analysing points with lower rating requiring improvement.

  • Monitoring the countermeasures effectiveness.

  • Monitoring the customer quality rating.

  • Understand issues reported by customer during visit.

  • Conducting CFT meeting for customer issues.

  • Discussing corrective actions for issues. Getting approval for actions form section head.

  • Ensure customer returns are updated in SAP system.

  • Analysis the customer returned material along with concerned department.

  • Confirming rework procedure for returned material and ensuring abnormal process form is raised.

  • Doing necessary follow-up for getting customer returned material reworked from production.

  • Calculating rework cost manpower and part cost used for rework, after receiving list of parts replaced from production.

  • Ensuring the product meets all quality specification as mentioned in drawings while different trials.

  • Ensuring that past trouble data are taken into consideration while developing new models.

  • Ensuring all requirements like masters, and specifications are made available to concerned production for trials.

  • Ensure new product development meetings like DCN, G Document and Prototype are attended is represented in meeting.

  • Tracking the development through time line chart and ensuring that issues are raised in PDI meetings and analysis is done for raised issues.

  • Confirming layout inspection of new product, ensuring all dimensions are within specification.

  • Ensuring history of all Initial product tag customer end and internal are maintained.

  • Monitoring the status of objectives defined by section head.

  • Doing necessary analysis for identifying improvement potentials.

  • Prepare necessary slides of departmental business plan.

  • Updating preliminary Japan MOR.

  • Prepare and circulate quality news to members of organization.

  • Identifying training needs of colleges and providing on job training to colleges while working.

  • Strive to achieve departmental objectives & initiate necessary actions as required.

  • Ensure necessary revisions and updating are done in manual.

  • Ensure environment management programs are decided and executed, monitoring of the status of program.

  • Initiating actions for closing of NCR and points for improvement if any highlighted in internal quality audit.

  • Ensure lots checking on performance machine as per procedure and clearing lots as per decided target and frequency. 

  • Ensure daily monitoring of Model wise internal & customer graphical trends, Problem discussion take necessary actions for solving the same.

  • Ensuring all required jets are checked inspected for master events.

  • Ensure new die results are thoroughly inspected and prior to implementation of die.

Qualification: B-TECH / Diploma (Mechanical)

Experience: 4-7 years (preferably in automobile industry)
