The Opportunity

Due to internal movement and growth within the Western Region, we are currently looking to appoint a highly skilled and experience HD Fitter / Mobile Plant Mechanic. This is an exciting opportunity to join company that values your lifestyle and offers a flexible roster with job security and stability and real career progression opportunities.

In this role, your key focus will be performing planned maintenance and carrying out major component change outs across various mine sites throughout the Pilbara and North West regions. Working alongside experienced team members, you will be united in your approach to completing quality OEM level work whilst providing great customer service to our clients.

Working a variety of FIFO rosters ex Perth or in the Southwest of Perth, you will:

  • Ensure the HCA Safety Culture is embraced, displayed and driven from within - safety takes priority over everything else
  • Hold relevant Australian (or Australian recognised) mobile plant trade qualifications
  • Have experience, knowledge and understanding of mining equipment
  • Have a strong work ethic and the ability to work in remote areas within a supported team
  • Have good communication and customer service skills with the ability to build long term relationships
  • A police clearance and current drivers licence are essential

  • Scaled rates - starting rate $67/hr, potential to qualify for $85/hr based on yearly performance & training completed
  • Superannuation paid on all ordinary hours up to 12 hours per rostered shift
  • Minimum 12hrs paid for all work days whilst working in the Pilbara on rostered days
  • 1hr of Airport standby time & 2hrs of flight travel time paid to/from the Pilbara
  • All travel hours on site paid - airport to site, intersite, and site to camp / vice versa
  • Reimbursements paid for transport to and from home to airport, or airport parking

  • 12hrs paid fatigue days whilst in the Pilbara
  • 210hr annual leave & 10 days' personal leave per annum
