Description

As a Mechanical Engineer I, you will work with some of the most talented engineers in the automation industry.  This role will enable you to further develop your machine design skills to concept and detail custom industrial automation systems  The innovative solutions we work on offer diverse experiences that will strengthen your skills and challenge your abilities.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Assist with the selection of components and creation of subassemblies.
  • Contribute to the development of conceptual machine designs for various automation projects.
  • Complete layout of machine through detail of components and subassemblies.
  • Understand and assure compliance with applicable industry standards.
  • Partner with cross functional team members throughout the design process.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field OR Associates degree with 2 years of related experience

Skills You’ll Have: 

Experience with CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks, Creo, NX, AutoCAD).

  • Ability to understand electrical/pneumatic schematic drawings.

Other Details: 

  • Travel up to 20%to customer sites & other JR location
