The team

Based in Drancy, the business controlling team (5 people) performs as finance business partner for key functions managers: Sales / Purchasing / Manufacturing / R&D and is very business oriented. The team handles planning activities (budget/ forecast / mid-term plan), financial analysis, production of functional business packages and reportings, develops IT tools (planning and BI tools) and coordinates BRBU finance teams (plants and regional head offices).

Key functions

Under the responsibility of Head of Business Controlling, CONTROLLING ASSISTANT will support the team and contribute to monthly financial reportings and analysis, to rolling forecast and budget/mid-term plan processes.

• Monthly reporting and forecast: he/she ensures data collection and analysis from plants (40 plants spread on all continents) and challenges accuracy/consistency of financial data
• Business Planning and BI tools:
  • He/she contributes to continuous improvement of our business planning tool (Anaplan) under responsibility of our Admistrator/Key user
  • He/she will be in charge of building new dashboards in our BI (Qlik) and planning tool (Anaplan)
• Budget and mid-term plan:
  • He/She builds dashboards for Sales / Purchasing / Investments budget reviews
  • He/she helps the team to organise data collection from plants / sales & Purchasing departments and integration into Anaplan
  • He/she supports local finance teams during the budget process

Profile and professional skills

Master’s degree in Finance or equivalent (2nd year preferably)

1st experience (internship / apprenticeship) in controlling

Fluent in English

Knowledge of / Appetite for BI and planning tools
