Job Description:

• Capable to vendor development, sourcing.

• Costing understanding, Presentation skills.

• Person Should have Techno – Commercial background

Job Responsibilities:

• New Parts Development and ECN implementation, part development from drawing finalization stage to pilot lot approval and dispatch of pilot lot supplies.

• Feasibility Study of Drawings, Specification review with Supplier & APQP for Component Development.

• New Source identification & Selection, vendor Audit & Process Audit for Value Engineering.

• Quotations Calling, Quote Analysis & Cost Negotiation, term and conditions Finalization

• RM and Process Price Settlement of Different Sources of Components,

• Alternate Source & Manufacturing Process Development for Cost Reduction & Quality Improvement.

• Conduct GPA & NDA with suppliers for respective commodity

• Packing improvement /implementation of environment norms.

• To make cost standard & should be cost for respective commodity.

• Hands-on experience with purchasing software (e.g. SAP MM Module)

Experience: 4-7 years ( preferably in automotive industry)

Qualification: Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering

Skills:

• Knowledge of different child part manufacturing process i.e., Casting, Sheet Metal, Rubber & Plastic etc (Any Specific commodity profile also ok, however person should understand the procedure for Sourcing & Vendor development)

• Good Analytical skills.

• Good Knowledge of SAP.

• Good Knowledge of Costing.
