Job Title - IT Service Coordinator Meet our TeamIT Service Management Team works closely with all IT Teams to understand and solve the issues faced by our Customers. We collaborate as a Team and cross-functionally to ensure the success of our Users; success that is celebrated and shared. We are responsible for IT processes thanks to which the work of other IT Teams is easier and more structured.
What you'll be doingAs an IT Service Coordinator, you will be working closely with the IT Process Owners for Incident, Change, Request, Knowledge and Problem management. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the practices assigned to you. This may require the analysis and chasing of aged incidents, managing problematic incidents, participating in internal projects, reporting in ServiceNow. Additionally, you will be responsible for ad-hoc tasks like chairing SWAT calls, processing Change requests and providing assistance to local Teams in terms of process awareness.
The role will require you to work both as an individual contributor and as a highly collaborative team player. As an IT Service Coordinator, you will have a chance to work closely with all IT Teams in Hitachi Vantara. Moreover, you will have an opportunity to come forward with your ideas and initiate projects aiming at implementing them. The role will also require broad technical knowledge of the Hitachi Vantara environment and creating and maintaining good relationships with multiple stakeholders from various technical and management levels.
What you bring to the team• Strong knowledge ITIL practices like: Incident, Change, Problem and Request Management,
• Good working knowledge of ServiceNow (including reporting module),
• The aptitude to identify key players and build relationships with them ensuring their cooperation required to fulfil your tasks
• Strong ability to carry out assigned tasks independently with little supervision
