The Role

An exciting new opportunity has been created for a Talent Acquisition Specialist who will join us to support and enhance the recruitment function, to meet the current and future needs of CablePrice NZ. Based in Lower Hutt, this role will have you working closely with hiring managers across our North Island branches focused on sourcing the right talent for our open vacancies.

Striving towards achieving a best practice model, you will be equipped with the latest technologies, media channels and systems to help you excel in your role.

Reporting to the HCMO Recruitment Manager, main duties include:

  • Executing our business strategy to attract the best people for our growing teams
  • Positively engaging with both active and passive candidates using social media and other search engines
  • Assist with our Apprenticeship recruitment campaigns/projects
  • Consistent communication with Hiring Managers on recruitment practice and strategy
  • End to end management of a high-performing recruitment function
  • Maintaining our applicant tracking system (LiveHire) ensuring timely and accurate data entry and administration

About You

We are looking for a customer focused, self-driven person who has a genuine passion in delivering service excellence. You will have previously worked in a fast paced agency environment or a dynamic internal recruitment team and looking to further your experience.

Often faced with multiple projects running concurrently with multiple deadlines, a personal drive towards sharing our core goal of Total Customer Satisfaction is paramount. High levels of service and attention to detail are a must and a desire to ensure the ongoing success of the recruitment team is most important.

Exposure recruiting for skilled blue collar/trades positions and/or experience in a high volume permanent or temporary/labour hire environment would be beneficial.
