Summary of the position:

Responsible for delivering a positive first impression and ensuring an exceptional experience with Sullair.  Providing support for new Channel Partner onboarding. Helping with inquiries (telephone, email, other), providing timely, complete and accurate answers to all order, product and parts requests (pricing, availability, order status, expedites, shipping information, order entry, problem resolution etc.). 

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Main point of contact to provide support to Channel Partner needs.
  • Heavily involved with new partner onboarding, setting up accounts, providing access to Sullair systems, training and on-going support.
  • Respond to partner inquiries related to order status, availability, delivery and problem resolution.
  • Enter partner orders into our ERP system – pre-check for accuracy, confirm ALL required PO information is provided, enter the order, and acknowledge back to customer with details including expected delivery.
  • Capture/enter end-user information for new equipment into our ERP system.
  • Identify competitive parts (and vendors) to secure needed parts for resale. 
  • Research and identify specific Sullair parts for all Sullair equipment.
  • Resolve disputed invoices, process credits / returns, etc. (in accordance with Sullair policies).
  • Provide to the Director, Commercial Sales-Direct weekly, monthly reports.
  • Be our ‘Voice of the Partner’ champion – listen, engage and provide specific partner feedback to management.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Associates degree or other post high school training (2 years duration).
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.

Professional experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in customer service/sales.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with strong desire for serving customers.
  • Strong interpersonal and active listening skills.
  • Sense of urgency.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, remain calm under pressure, and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
  • Moderate proficiency with Microsoft programs such as Outlook, Word, Excel preferred.
  • Proficiency with SAP preferred.
  • Microsoft Dynamics experience a plus.
