Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated SENIOR TURNKEY BID MANAGER who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Genoa - Italy.

Mission:

Preparation of relevant Bids (in terms of value, complexity and requirements) in compliance with Company Bidding Procedure. Coordination and monitoring of all assigned bids, implementing and achieving bidding function mission and targets

Accountabilities

WITH REFERENCE TO STANDARD BIDS:

• Ensure the preparation of bids in compliance with Bidding process

• Ensure the alignment with Sales targets and the implementation of Company policies / guidelines for the definition and preparation of all financial/ economic items of the assigned bids

• Ensure the analysis of tender documentation in order to identify the main technical and contractual elements relevant for the bid preparation and to provide all the Bidding Team Members with the bidding SoW and expected outputs

• Ensure all bidding risks are identified and consolidated according to the Company risk management procedure

• Contribute to the definition of the bid strategy

• Ensure the control of the bidding costs for the assigned bids

• Support the Sales Manager in the definition of the guidelines of the Bid Preparation strategy (strategic goals, relationships with the Client and the Partners, Target price)

• Ensure the continuous update of AIDA data base for the assigned bids

• Ensure the implementation of assigned improvement actions and the maintenance of the bidding tools and processes

• Ensure providing the Project Manager with the validated whole life costs estimation, assumptions, revenues, margins (including EVA) risks, contingencies and work schedule
