The Global Engineered Solution Manager should be viewed as a "thought leader" for collaborative solutions, that incorporate Core Infrastructure as well as third party elements from our alliance partners. Provide Escalation point for all technology related activities, to drive growth and provide coaching and leadership to the TE solutions team. Management of the technical expert team.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work:
  • Partner with Global Business/Solution Leads to align on priorities, training, development, and enablement activities for the Global Engineered Solutions TE TEAM
  • Implement growth strategies for driving revenue growth across key products and platforms aligned to customer feedback as defined by GBL and GSL
  • Work closely with PM on product and solution escalation and development
  • Actively support the account team with solution and product advice, proposal support, presentation delivery, and other customer engagement activities
  • Engage Hitachi Vantara and/or Partner resources, tools, and programs, including the COE, to drive detailed technical presentations, demos, and proofs of value, including independent customer follow-up to help accelerate the sales process and reduce time to technical close
  • Align and lead development of key architectures and solutions working closely with Hitachi ecosystem of ISVs and strategic alliances
  • Lead the Global Engineered Solutions TE TEAM to provide technical information to the field sales, customers, and partners for the assigned solution areas
  • Lead the implementation and influence reference architectures that support the repeatable "Sales Plays" and are differentiated in the marketplace on GEO level
  • Lead the documentation of co-creation solutions for repeatability and scale in the GEO
  • Support the GSL to develop re-usable solution architectures, solution presentations, field sensing, sales enablement, and strategic initiatives

  • Proven domain expertise in solution family specialty
  • Strong advisory on how to define and apply solution best practices
  • Competently applies understanding of solution portfolio to customer business requirements
  • Understands, manages, and delivers on customer expectations and maintains positive relationships internally and externally
  • Applies consultative selling to arrive at optimal outcome solution
  • Ability to communicate key competitive differentiation solution benefits to target audience
  • Ensure efficient technical qualification of viable opportunities
  • Ability to collaborate and leverage mutual Hitachi and/or Partner capabilities and best practices
  • Ability to interact with account independent of the Account Executive
  • Demonstrate effective presentation and delivery of technical and related business messaging skills
  • Competent (accurate, complete, timely) management of technical and business documentation
