About the Opportunity

We currently have an opportunity available for a professional Administration Manager to join the Hitachi team! This role will report directly to the Tasmanian Branch Manager and is located at the Launceston branch.

The responsibilities will include but not limited to;

  • Monitor procedures and reporting to incidents and investigations
  • Identify existing supply contracts with potential for cost reduction
  • Coordinate and maintain service department site inductions and competencies
  • Review accounts and credit limits as per company procedure
  • Build relationships with key customer contacts
  • Administer customer payment receipting, banking and creditor maintenance
  • Manage branch related accounts payable, banking and petty cash
  • Weekly review of security report
  • Branch auditing completed as per audit schedule
  • Leading end to end financial and administrative services to support branch operations.
  • Invoicing - tracking and following up payments
  • Working towards and achieving monthly forecasts, all departments
  • Provide ongoing supervision and support to department administrators
  • Take leadership in QA and major local Continuous Improvement projects & field days

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A strongly developed awareness of personal and peer health and safety and displaying safety leadership
  • Demonstrated office management experience fostering high performing teams, healthy employee satisfaction and governing self with unwavering integrity
  • Proven financial acumen processing, managing and reporting against budget P & L, debtors and branch accounts payable and receivable discipline to achieve financial compliance
  • Senior experience with Microsoft Excel
