Hitachi Vantara seeking Oracle EBS Developer Specialist, who will be responsible for leading the technical work, development, customization, and Production Support of R12 Oracle EBS Finance Applications. This individual must have strong application development experience and functional experience with the ability to design complex system solutions.

This individual will deliver ERP technical solutions while providing designs that support day to day operations at Hitachi Vantara. This individual must have a passion for technology delivery and be able to thrive in a dynamic, fast changing environment, without losing sight of core processes around development and delivery. Must be able to work on and balance multiple high priority items at the same time.

Job Requirements and Key Duties:
• Responsible for the design, development and implementation of technical solutions in accordance with requirements provided by the business and/or other areas within the IT organization.
• Strong working knowledge in Oracle E-Business Suite: Oracle ERP Finance applications development with an emphasis on extensions, interfaces, workflows and other technical functions
• Technical proficiency in Oracle Tools: Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Oracle Workflow Builder, Interfaces, PL/SQL, SQL, BI/XML Publisher, Shell Scripting, OAF.
• Extensive programming and development skills.
• Competency with REST/SOAP API functions.
• Good understanding on Oracle ERP implementations around Finance modules.
• Proficiency in Oracle EBS application modules: Accounts Payables, Fixed Asset, General Ledger, Cash Management, iProcurement, iExpense, Order Management (OM), TCA, Inventory, Purchasing, Account Receivables.
• Design and develop system solutions to address business issues and new business processes as requested by the functional users.
• Knowledge of latest integration technologies available between applications and platforms.
• Working knowledge of enterprise application system development methodology and life cycle.
• Solid understanding of: relational database concepts, internet technologies, Unix/Linux operating system functions.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment of other. programmer/analysts cross functional peers to support deadlines.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
• Creates new functionality to modify and extend existing apps using appropriate technologies.
• Responsible for conducting or coordinating quality assurance testing and quality assurance practices to deliver IT services that meet requirements, work as planned and integrate with other IT services.
• Provides timely guidance and feedback to peers help strengthen specific skill areas.
• Design system and process improvements from a user perspective focusing on usability, system integration, and infrastructure impact.
• Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental and safety regulatory considerations.
• Perform appropriate code modifications to existing software that is aligned with the tools, procedures, processes, and coding standards.
• Work as part of the technical team to develop code that enhances current software products, as well as assist in the design, development, and implementation of new software products.
• Participate in design and code review sessions to ensure accuracy and maintainability of programming.
• Work with the organization's Project Managers, Quality Assurance, and Infrastructure staff to ensure timely delivery of quality software changes, defect correction, and enhancements.
• Evaluate proposed technical solutions to ensure that they are aligned with the software functionality and attributes.
• Perform unit and systems testing to ensure delivery of quality products.
• Assist Business Analysts and Project Managers to address ad hoc customer requests (e.g., database queries, data issues, etc.).
• Works collaboratively with team of developers and engineers to design and develop moderate to complex web-based or cloud applications
• Recommends innovative technical solutions to improve software capabilities and user accessibility. Ensures technical components are reliable, scalable, interoperable, and reusable
• Designs and documents technical architecture
• Mentor other Development staff
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• University degree in the field of computer science or information systems.
• 10 years' experience working with the Oracle EBS, strong knowledge of Oracle Financial modules which includes Accounts Payables, Fixed Asset, General Ledger, Cash Management, iProcurement, iExpense, Order Management (OM), TCA, Inventory, Purchasing, Account Receivables.
• API experience within Oracle Fin
o Stored procedures, triggers, process etc.
• In-bound & out-bound interface writing/coding experience
• Unix/Solaris platform experience
o Shell scripting (mid-level)
o Kernel (concepts)
• Extensive knowledge of Oracle Finance application setup.
• Excellent Oracle (Version 11gR2) PL/SQL package experience
• Hands on experience in OA Framework, Workflow, Business Events, Middleware, service oriented architecture (SOA) and AIA (Application Integration Architecture).
• Proficiency with REST/SOAP API functions.
• Working knowledge with Middleware integrations like AWS, Mulesoft, etc.
• Techno Functional experience in Developer 6i (Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Procedure Builder) and Report development using XML Publisher.
• Extensive business knowledge of current industry issues in the areas of privacy, security implementation, data retention, and usability.
• Fix issues related to integration efforts (both in-bound & out-bound)
• Coding using PL/SQL packages
• GPG encryption, FTP & SFTP protocols
• Thorough knowledge of standard development life cycles, methodology, and associated quality assurance steps.
• Excellent troubleshooting/analytical skills required.
• Knowledge of Hitachi processes will be an additional advantage.
• Understand data structure and correct data in order to resolve application issues.
• Proven experience with troubleshooting principles, methodologies, and issue resolution techniques.
• Experience with building and maintaining database queries.
• Good understanding of the organization's goals and objectives.
• Excellent written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.
• Highly self-motivated and self-directed.
• Ability to absorb new ideas and concepts quickly.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
