The Opportunity

Due to an increase in demand Perth Branch is looking for a Product Support Representative - Construction Equipment to join its Customer Support team.

Traveling throughout Western Australia supporting customers with technical issues and creating solutions to meet their needs, this position will assist HCA staff and customers with technical and diagnostic support.

Reporting to the Customer Support Manager, the main responsibilities include:

  • Support of our infield Construction Equipment
  • Perform detailed diagnostic evaluations
  • Perform hydraulic testing, machine health inspections, undercarriage assessments and produce detailed condition reports
  • Complete detailed Field Information Reports
  • Monitor oil sample reports
  • Monitor and assist with product improvement programs
  • Assist with drafting of quotations for parts and service requirements
  • Attend new equipment handovers and on site demonstrations.
  • Working with internal departments to provide high levels of service
  • Promoting parts and service in line with branch sales and margin targets

To be successful you will need:

  • Relevant trade qualifications with field service experience
  • Ability to work unsupervised and manage customer base
  • Excellent technical knowledge of construction equipment
  • Excellent computer literacy skills.
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to travel as required in line with customer needs
