Parts Interpreter - Revesby

The Role

With strong growth in our parts department, our Sydney branch based in Revesby has a new and exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated individual to join the team in the position of a Parts Interpreter. The position will see you focus on the coordination and supply of quality parts to our much loved customer base whilst also liaising with internal stakeholders to coordinate high level service delivery.

This role will be best suited to someone who enjoys varied work as you will be providing customer service from an operational standpoint. In this position, you will be well supported to provide a range of OEM level services ranging from sourcing parts, invoicing and customer query management through to warranty support and stock coordination.

Some of the duties performed in this role are as follows;

• Being the primary point of contact for retail and internal enquiries relating to spare parts; pricing, parts, availability of stock, order enquires, procurement of stock and back order parts
• External customer sales required including counter, email and phone sales
• Internal supply of parts for our planned workshop builds and major repairs and for all field service based activities
• Using electronic parts diagram or parts catalogue to identify and source parts for customers
• Reviewing customer orders ensuring they are correct, applying a high level of attention to detail

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Experience & Skillset - Demonstrated knowledge and previous experience in a Parts environment
• Industry Knowledge: A developed mechanical understanding of the Construction and Mining field would be highly regarded, but is not essential.
• Warehousing & Logistics Coordination: With confident computer literacy skills; a High Risk Forklift License would also be beneficial.
• Safety Conscious - A strong, developed awareness and commitment to personal and peer health and safety.
• Analytical thinking - Ability to navigate any issues in supply and demand whilst identifying continuous improvement and upselling opportunities.
• Autonomous productivity - A self-driven Initiative to plan work fronts efficiently and effectively to deliver Hitachi's Promise of Total Customer Satisfaction
