Shipping and Receiving Associate

ROLE:

The main functions of this job include receiving products into the system, verifying and checking any discrepancies, entering scrap dispositions, verifying on hand inventory, and other duties as directed by the Customer Service Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Comparing receiving sheets against bills of lading to verify the products that were received and noting any discrepancies.
  • Receiving products into SAP.
  • Counting, weighing or measuring items of incoming shipments in order to verify information against invoices, orders, bills of lading or other records.
  • Communicating directly with suppliers to resolve discrepancies.
  • Entering scrap dispositions into SAP in a timely manner.
  • Work with other departments and third party sort companies to resolve complications with scrap dispositions.
  • Cycle count raw, finished good, and component inventory.
  • Assist others on the Customer Service team as needed.
  • Performs all job responsibility while adhering to WF safety policies.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS :


  • High School Diploma/GED Equivalent. Microsoft Excel and Data entry experience. Familiarity with SAP preferred.
