To be responsible for the receipt and dispatch of goods in a timely and accurate manner, in line with work instructions, Standard Operating Procedures and QA standards.


Operational Requirements

  • Receipt of incoming goods in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Packing and despatch of goods in an efficient manner and in accordance with deadlines.
  • Coordinate transport and logistic requirements.
  • Loading and unloading trucks via forklift.
  • Update and maintain computerised inventory control system.
  • Maintain stores area in a tidy and organised manner.
  • Coordinate inventory audit requirements.
  • Receipt of issue of goods from store inventory to the business.
  • Ordering, including raising purchase orders, as required.

Induction and Onboarding

  • Complete all relevant work-site inductions prior to starting work.
  • Undertake training as required.

Reporting and Records

  • Time recording and timesheets.

Strategic Projects

  • Actively contribute to, and participate in, the delivery of strategic initiatives and projects as required.


  • All employees must complete initial HEPI Induction Training. 
  • Employees must adhere to all Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality policies, procedures, and other work practices established by HEPI or governed authorities.
  • Avoid any activity that creates or poses a serious hazard to themselves or others while working for HEPI.
  • Immediately bring any safety concern to your supervisor, or others designated by departmental procedures.  If any employee believes that performing an assigned work task or activity may pose a serious risk to life or health or non-compliant, discuss the issue immediately and directly with your supervisor. 
  • Prior to operating any equipment supplied by HEPI, employees are to be adequately trained, equipped, monitored, evaluated, and guided as appropriate, to comply with established policies, standards, and procedures.  


Business and Technical Systems:

  • Computer literate with intermediate Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (previous experience with Pronto would be an advantage).

Academic and Trade Qualifications: 

  • High Risk Work License – Forklift.
  • Certificate in Warehousing or similar preferred but not essential.
  • Approximately 2-4 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Solid grasp of numbers and high degree of accuracy.

Work Experience:

  • Sound knowledge of Inventory Control.
  • Data entry skills.
  • Previous experience working in mining / manufacturing industry (preferred).

  • Able to work in busy conditions, subject to tight timeframes and with competing demands.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
