The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join the team in the position of Parts Manager. The position will see you focus on the management of our growing parts department for our Emerald Branch. You will lead a dedicated team in coordinating the supply of quality parts to our valued customer base whilst liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure high-level inventory management and service delivery.

In this position, you will be providing a range of OEM level services related to parts in end-to-end customer query management. This position will be best suited to the personable professional who holds a real passion for providing customer service from an operational standpoint.

To achieve this, you will need to:

  • Work with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders to identify efficiency and cost down opportunities within own area or across business.
  • Ensure the effective operation and compliance of the Parts Department with company policy, procedures and quality requirements.
  • Ensure HCA employees and contractors comply with all WHS responsibilities and that a safety first culture is a consistent behavior within the department

About you - if you consider yourself to have the following, then we want to hear from you

  • Ensure the HCA Safety Culture is embraced, displayed and driven from within - safety takes priority over everything else
  • Previous OEM or heavy industrial parts department management experience - preferred
  • Proven leadership skills in a similar environment where you have developed and mentored staff
  • Great communication skills, to motivate and instruct / listen to your team and business various stakeholders
  • High OEM level understanding and mechanical aptitude for parts support
  • Integrity, putting safety and quality service first
  • Have a proactive response to problem resolution and delivering on internal & external customer expectations
