Summary of the position:

The S&OP Analyst will be the single point of contact for sales teams and have end-to-end responsibility for demand forecasting, synchronizing supply to demand, evaluating and scheduling of customer orders, communicating the status of product availability, lead times, and defining inventory strategy for Air Treatment/OEM.

This position is located at Sullair Chicago, 8700 West Bryn Mawr, Chicago, Illinois. 

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Communicates status of customer orders, lead times, and coordinates escalation and expedite process as single point of contact to the sales teams, product management, and order entry
  • Review Sales orders for all order types, including drop ships, and assign promise dates based upon forecasts, capacity, and material availability.
  • Facilitates the S&OP Demand Review process and produces 18–24-month executable demand plan using available forecasting software for Air Treatment & OEM
  • Facilitates the global planning process, and capacity allocation balancing regional demand within supply capabilities
  • Modify the schedule, prioritization as required, and communicate customer delays into Sales facing functions
  • Coordination of Engineering (ECO) changes with Supply Chain, Inventory, Product Management, and manufacturer for phase in and phase out planning and execution
  • Work directly with manufacturer and commodity management to resolve customer issues and prioritization of schedules
  • Develops, analyzes, and disseminates reports, data and analytics
  • Performs complex analysis of information, problems, and/or data under general supervision. Makes recommendations for the review and priority to senior staff members.
  • Support safety awareness and ergonomic initiatives.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or minimum related experience. 

Professional experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience with scheduling, inventory control or operations responsibility.

Key Skills:

  • In depth knowledge of Materials Requirements Planning, Work Order Management and Production Control within an ERP-driven environment.  SAP experience preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point, Teams
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the desire and ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization. 
  • Organized and efficient; able to prioritize in a demanding environment and work in a fast-paced environment
