The sales account manager will be responsible to create, maintain and grow business in Opto-Electronics fields. They will work closely with our supply base to ensure customer requirements are met in a clear, concise, and timely manner.

  • 2-5 minimum years of outside sales experience, ideally in high tech field such as telecommunications, industrial lasers or biomedical.


  • Pro-actively work to develop business for new customers and build strong relationships  
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and time management capabilities with a strong sense of account responsibility. Timeliness, accuracy, and clarity critical to move business forward and reach sales targets
  • Ability to explore and determine customer pain points and propose solutions
  • Work closely with branch offices in United States and around the world (occasionally involving after hours calls to Asia locations)
  • Negotiate price and prepare quotations
  • Maintain and grow existing sales for each customer account
  • Effectively facilitate communications between suppliers and customers
  • Discuss technical aspects of projects at engineering level
  • Requires occasional travel within the United States and to Asia
  • Capable to maintain several projects and accounts simultaneously
  • Ability to discuss with engineering through to purchasing in Opto-Electronics industries
  • Maintain respect of all stakeholders (customer, suppliers, colleagues)


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related industry (fiber optics) experience required.
  • Must possess valid drivers’ license.


  • 2-5 minimum years of outside sales experience, ideally in high tech field such as telecommunications, industrial lasers or biomedical.
  • Excellent verbal/written communications and time management skills.
  • Ability to discuss technical specifications from an engineering level perspective and conduct sales negotiations.
  • Past proven new business creation required.
  • International business experience is preferred.
  • Experience developing and maintaining digital marketing platforms is preferred.
  • Must be willing and able to travel 1-2 times per month within North America for duration of 1-2 nights.



·Computer Skills: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).

  • Excellent detailed and aesthetically organized presentation creation skills.
  • Accurate, effective, and timely communication skills.
  • General marketing knowledge preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of optical, mechanical, or electrical systems engineering preferred.
  • Ability to properly present new ideas and communicate effectively to an executive level audience.
