Responsibilities include developing and driving both our Microsoft field relationships and uncovering prospect opportunities for our sales team. This individual will lead our two teams of inside sales representatives that target these distinct audience groups creating and cultivating relationships through inbound and outbound go-to-market activities. As an Inside Business Development Manager, you will develop critical relationships with Microsoft's US and Canadian field organizations and develop new business opportunities with prospective customers increasing market share.Qualifications
An understanding of Microsoft's offerings, organization structure and workings.
A passion for coaching, building, and leading an inside sales team on the frontline of our GTM engines.
High degree of collaboration and ability to work in a matrixed and leveraged organization construct.
Business acumen and understanding of how to measure and communicate business value between Hitachi Solutions and our target audiences.
Working with internal teams across our business to ensure that our frontline connections are synchronized with our organizational goals. About You:
- 5+ years' go-to-market experience building, managing, and measuring prospective relationships
- Technologically adept and business acumen-focused, with outstanding communication (written and oral), and presentation skills
- Are metric minded and able to use data to articulate opportunities internally and externally
- Experience leading an inside selling team
- Well organized with very strong time management skills
- Entrepreneurial and leadership mindset
- Must be able to work effectively as part of a geographically distributed team
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent
