Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Rolling Stock Lead Integrator who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in San Francisco, CA.

Accountabilities

Manage and lead the correct definition and resolution of Existing Vehicle Onboard Interfaces with Signalling CBTC.

Provide expertise and support to design Integrated On Board Functionality.

Guarantee the conformity and compliance of the Rolling Stock fleet Interface design with CBTC to Contractual Requirements.

Perform Design review of Vehicle project focusing on main subsystems and performances affecting System and On Board CBTC and DCS interfaces.

Support the definition of the main subsystem and system integrated test plan and procedures affecting On Board Vehicle interfaces.

Be the owner, in project team, of the process to face Customer requests, clarification, Design review and requirements analysis for onboard Integration activities.

Purchase and Support FAT (Factory Acceptance Tests) of Material necessary for on-board integration of CBTC/DCS.

Interact with Installation Team to support Integration Material Installation.

Strong Support to Execution of System Commissioning focusing on Vehicle related Tests and Procedures.

Operate for the vehicle integration Processes and Expertise standardization.

Required Skills/ Knowledge

5+ years’ experience in Vehicle Interface Design with onboard Signalling especially in Brown Field Projects

Qualification:

Engineering Master Degree (Electronic, computer science, telecommunications, Electrical or Mechanical).

Languages

English Proficiency

The salary range for this position is $85,200- $127,200 per year.  The final pay is determined by the candidate’s experience, skillset and ability level, internal equity and location.
