The Opportunity

Hitachi's Adelaide branch has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Store person to join our Parts and Warehousing department.

Reporting to the Parts Manager, you will be involved in the coordination and logistics behind the supply of quality parts to our much-loved customer base. You will be responsible for providing a range of OEM level services from invoicing and customer query management, through to stock coordination, receiving and dispatching parts and equipment.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Previous stores/warehouse experience in a parts environment or similar industry with a current forklift licence
  • Self-motivation with a focus on customer service, committed to delivering Hitachi's promise of Total Customer Satisfaction
  • Experience processing, receipting inbound deliveries as well as pick, pack and preparing outbound orders
  • Liaising with freight carriers and consignment creation
  • High attention to detail with intermediate computer skills
  • A willingness to learn our processes and product
  • Experience with RF Scanners and Smart Warehouse systems
  • Ability to trouble-shoot processing / receipting issues
