What you'll be doing

We are a global team and represent Hitachi Vantara to external suppliers across industries, establishing business relationships to source goods and services to support the internal needs of the enterprise while delivering the optimal value and contributing to the business of Hitachi. We collaborate as a team and cross-functionally to ensure success that is celebrated and shared. Seek to build strong relationships and trust with the procurement team and other internal stakeholders to deploy technology and create processes to deliver or improve sound solutions for the sourcing and procurement of goods and services.
Partner with our IT organization to propose and implement technology solutions to improve the operational effectiveness of the procurement organisation while also improving the user experience of our internal stakeholders
Demonstrate project management skills to manage procurement improvement projects including creation of project updates for various organizational leaders.

What you bring to the team

• Experience in partnering with high tech IT organizations to manage procurement improvement projects.
• Aptitude to think creatively and work consistently to identify, develop and value driven projects and you'll be able to share specific examples to illustrate your skills
• The ability to navigate complex situations and influence key internal stakeholders to deliver results.
• 1 - 3 years with a track record of managing projects requiring cross functional engagement, that meet the stated objectives and are delivered on schedule.
• Ability to propose and implement technology solutions to improve the operation effectiveness.
• Demonstrated experience in facilitating solutions with an IT organization for systems such as Oracle ERP, Zycus CLM and Service Now.

For Colorado only (as required by the Colorado Equal Pay Act): The expected salary for this position in our Colorado office is $70,000 - $80,000. Pay is determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, depth of experience in the practice area. Employees are eligible to participate in Hitachi Vantara's variable pay program, subject to the program's conditions and restrictions.
