Summary of the position:

The Senior Manager, Parts & Service Sales is responsible for maintaining existing and growing new sales revenue for our parts and service portfolios through a multi-channel environment. A successful Senior Manager, Parts & Service Sales will drive parts sales initiatives through effective install base management strategies and lead a team of regionally based direct and matrix-reporting parts sales managers. Our ideal hire must be self-motivated and results-oriented with a proven history of executing strategic initiatives delivering growth in after sales environments.

This role reports to the Senior Director of Global Sustainability.  The position may be based out of our executive office in Chicago, Illinois or alternatively, the position may work remotely within the continental USA.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing, maintaining and implementing account plans that contain the strategies and action plans for maximizing the value of our install base through our channel partners
  • Directly responsible for gathering, analyzing and developing account profiles that reveal the following:
    • Specific information relative to programs needed to effect sales
    • Unique problems relative to the parts, including biases and concerns of individual decision makers and key influential parties
    • Accounts specific goals, needs and special issues of interest
  • Work diligently to meet assigned revenue growth targets and subsequently maintain profit margins as set forth by Senior Management
  • Provide proposal development oversight to help in creating offers that represent a maximum value to parts and ensure that the proposal addresses the account’s key issues, needs, and requirements
  • Continuously monitor account’s satisfaction; communicate and resolve the account’s concerns
  • Seek to facilitate future business by identifying new opportunities
  • Report status of assigned accounts’ issues to the business unit leader on an ongoing basis while determining and driving resolution
  • Maintain a high state of integrity and professionalism in carrying out the duties and responsibilities of this position
  • Perform all other duties assigned by business unit leader



  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration or Equivalent Degree and/or Equivalent experience

Professional experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ work experience in commercial/sales role or industrial market experience managing a team
  • Experience in account management is required
  • Experience in installed base management is required
  • Experience in Parts Sales is preferred
  • Experience in marketing is preferred

Key behaviors:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to work in a well-structured fashion and strong capability to functionally lead cross-functional teams
  • Must be accustomed to frequent travel (Approximately 60%) and overnight stays.

  • (2) NA Parts and Service Sales Managers (Matrixed Indirect)
