What you’ll be doing

As part of the global Marketing & Sales (M&S) team you’ll have the opportunity to join a highly visible, strategically important team and support the Executive Management in their activities during this Transformation.   Additionally, you’ll support HR & the Global account managers with their activity’s execution in their function.

Some of the responsibilities of this role include:

  • Act as the point of contact between the Head of Account Manager and internal/external stakeholders

  • Manage diary and schedule meetings and appointments

  • Organize travel arrangements and settle expenses

  • Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies

  • Handle requests and queries appropriately and assist colleagues whenever necessary

Back-office support for Group Account Managers:

  • Compiling lists of marketing & sales leads; providing sales data and guides to the account team

  • Compiling reports for the team, managing sales tracking tools

  • Recording sales trends and liaising with group account managers to support sales strategies

  • Performing data entry tasks for sales figures, metrics, and other relevant information and maintaining an organized and accessible filing system.

  • Handling administrative duties for the company and its executives and management teams.

  • Scheduling customer meetings and conferences.

What you bring to the team

We’re looking for a team player, who is motivated by delivering great work and the Hitachi vision.  Some of the skills and experience we look for include:

  • Location: United Arab Emirates (Dubai)

  • Proficient language skills in English, fluency in Japanese

  • Proven work experience as a Sales support specialist or Sales support associate

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills; ability to affiliate with local civilian / suppliers / customers / governmental personnel / lawyers / Global company personnel etc.

  • Strong sense of accountability

  • Profound knowledge and experience in office administration

  • Extensive computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, SAP, etc.

  • Flexibility, adaptability, diligence, and willingness to look beyond

  • Friendly and approachable with a can-do attitude

  • Cultural sensitivity and openness to work in an international business environment across all timezones
