The EMEA Enterprise Sales Director is a high profile leadership role in our Software (Analytics, Data Management) business. It is responsible for a pan European team focused on acquiring, expanding, and managing large Enterprise Accounts. This is a critical market segment to Hitachi where we are seeking to build out our Data Management & Analytics revenues and team.

The successful candidate is a true leader by word and deed. They are passionate about their team and foster a culture of sales excellence and governance, with coaching, mentoring and development on offer to all team members regardless of their experience. What You Will Be Doing
  • Owning the EMEA quota for our entire software (Data) portfolio, leading a group of experienced sellers across multiple countries
  • Acting as a figure head for the multi-disciplinary EMEA team, with not all being direct reports (sales, presales, product, channel/partner, customer success, renewals etc)
  • Running regular cadence on all aspects of the sales effort: forecasting, new business identification, opportunity qualification, sales cycle management etc
  • Supporting as required complex, enterprise-wide sales-cycles, when required presenting Data Management & Analytics value to C level executives.
  • Leading, coaching, mentoring and developing the existing team members as well as growing the team with high performing, motivated new sellers.
  • Contributing to the wider business across: marketing, product roadmap, sales best practice and more

What you bring to the team
  • A track record as a successful sales leader with an international experience leading an EMEA based quota carrying team
  • Proven experience in the analytics/data space, a knowledge of software in one or more of: Data Management, Catalogue, Analytics, ETL is preferred
  • Knowledge of selling to enterprise customers, building business cases, demonstrating value and closing multi $m sales
  • A 'hands on' sales leadership style, getting involved with the customers, the sales cycles and helping the team execute.
  • Strong governance around forecasting, pipeline generation and management
  • The ability to work in a complex, international company, fostering a cross sell/upsell collaboration with other business units and their customers.
  • An early career as a successful seller: prospecting, driving, orchestrating and closing complex sales cycles is preferred
