Sales Coordinator

Company: Hitachi Industrial Equipment & Solutions America, LLC.
Division: Industrial Components & Equipment Division (ICED)
Location: Charlotte, NC or Remote home office
Hours: 8am to 5pm, Monday-Friday
Status: Regular, Full Time

Summary
The Sales Coordinator will be responsible for executing support functions by following our procedures that involves transactions with internal and external  customers and vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Sales analysis and reporting: helping Sales team to develop necessary reports, help monitoring order continuity from our customers and status from vendors.
  • Utilize SAP System to create, process customer orders, maintain customer masters and pricing masters.
  • Create and process vendor purchase order and process payment documents for vendors.
  • Maintain and monitor vendor and customer delivery schedules.
  • Participate, provide documentation and support to all Audits.
  • Assist in conducting Import/Export screening of customers. Process Due Diligence screening of customers and maintain excel spreadsheet. Maintain product logs with IEO information.
  • Provide occasional warehouse back-up coverage.
  • Participate in Credit review meeting and implement action items accordingly.
  • File, archive, and other administrative duties, as directed by  the direct supervisor/manager .
    Works under limited supervision for routine situations.
  • Other activities assigned by the direct supervisor to meet the needs of the business.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field is preferred.
  • 1 to 3 years of related sales office experience preferred, or general admin experience is required.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), SAP a plus.  
  • Enthusiastic team player
  • Must be detail-oriented and well organized
  • Must have the ability to prioritize, multi-task and to work in a fast-paced environment
