Hitachi has established Centralized Shared Services (CSS) organization under Transformation Division. Objective is to transform the delivery of business operations across the Hitachi group. We have a mission to deliver business services efficiently and provide services which are highly valued by Hitachi businesses, our internal customers.
Working as a key member of the CSS Transformation Team you will report to the global Leader of Hitachi CSS. In this critical position you will partner closely with CSS organizations and related teams. You will ensure that stakeholders are kept informed through regular reporting and the proactive management of potential risks or delays to workstreams. You will also support the CSS Lead in other ad hoc activities related to the governance of the CSS organization.
Role is based out of Hitachi’s office in Bangalore. This is a global role and will work with colleagues globally.
Role Responsibilities: Some of the skills and experience we are looking for include:
Provide timely central reporting to the CSS lead & senior stakeholders on the current status of CSS initiatives & projects
Lead/coordinate the creation of CSS presentations that will be prepared by CSS
Support the CSS leader in implementing & managing the governance of the CSS organization
Partner with various stakeholders (including senior mgt./leadership) to understand the business requirements and produce the required business presentations and/or artefacts
Assist the CSS leader in ad hoc activities as needed
Expert in Microsoft Office (mandatory, specifically on PowerPoint) and other related document / presentation design tools / technologies (non-mandatory)
Visualization of complex data (in different formats) into effective presentations
A data led approach with strong analytical ability
PMO experience and / or a history of successfully being part of a project management team, having personally managed components of a project
Experience gained working in a global organization is desirable
Experience with projects involving Japanese business environment OR some Japanese language capability is a definite plus
First class communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to manage and influence stakeholders
Excellent organizational and planning skills combined with a proactive and problem-solving led approach
Strong team player
Ability to adapt to dynamically changing environment
Capability and desire to work in a global environment
Interested in learning new things
Ability to plan details and next steps with minimum instructions
