Infrastructure Product Management team at Hitachi Vantara brings innovative, environment-friendly and problem-solving data storage products and solutions to the market. Common HW PM team manages the entire lifecycle of hardware products in storage, network, compute and IoT product families. What You'll Be Doing
• You will be assisting Senior Product Manager with building Data Protection product strategy and roadmap.
• You will guide the entire lifecycle of selected data protection products and solutions in Hitachi Vantara product portfolio. This includes, but is not limited to, pricing, marketing, support planning and reporting.
• You will also support Senior Product Manager with development of product positioning, training aids and other collateral in collaboration with marketing and sales teams. Regular study of market trends and understanding competition's value proposition will help you influence product positioning and ensure roadmaps, pricing, and features are well-positioned.
• You will collaborate in all Go-to-Market (GTM) activities for new products and work with a cross-functional team toward successful product launch. Your cooperation with configuration planning team will help build an easy-to-use configure-price-quote tool for your products.
• You will also be supporting Demand and Supply planning teams to enable right product and quantity mix for the inventory. A key task is to work with technology partners who develop next-generation data protection solutions and backup software for IT and Security Ops Management and furnish joint solutions with these partners.

What You Bring to the Team
• Bachelor of Science degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
• 1 - 3 years experience as a Product Manager in an IT company.
• 1-2 year experience with backup, disaster recovery or cyber-security software products. Strong understanding of compute hardware, backup software and data protection market.
• 1 - 3 years experience hands-on experience or sound familiarity with products from Commvault, Veritas, Veeam, Rubrik or Cohesity.
• Ability to think both strategically and tactically with strong analytic and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be United State Citizen and/or Green Card holder.
