The Organization
Hitachi has established Centralized Shared Services (CSS) organization under Transformation Division. The objective is to transform the delivery of business operations across the Hitachi group. Hitachi CSS Process Transformation team’s objective is to support various business functions in Hitachi and start utilizing Process Transformation (PX) methodology to substantially improve efficiency leading to cost reduction.
The Role
Working as a key member of Hitachi CSS Process Transformation team you will report to Process Transformation Lead. You will help drive Process Transformation (PX) projects across the company, working closely with Customers representing various Hitachi divisions. Your core responsibilities will include identifying process transformation opportunities, analyzing processes across different business functions, detecting areas for improvement, developing solutions and business case, and overseeing the implementation of the reformed processes.

Role Responsibilities:
Required
Business proficiency in English
Experience of leading process transformation projects in a global business organization
Good understanding of at least one of the business processes (Finance, HR, Procurement, IT); previous operational experience in one of these areas preferred
Knowledge of Lean and / or Six Sigma methods; practical experience preferred
Advanced skills in process analysis and process mapping
Practical use of various brainstorming techniques
Advanced skills in root-cause analysis and problem solving
Experience in benefit vs. cost analysis
Experience in defining project success criteria and implementing success measures
Advanced skills in developing and maintaining project documentation
Experience in preparing and delivering presentations to senior stakeholders
Preferred
Experience of value stream mapping (VSM)
Experience with data mining tools
Experience with BPM tools

Core responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify processes for transformation
Independently conduct complex process analysis and business requirements gathering
Lead the facilitation of client's workshops for As-Is analysis and To-Be design
Co-create solutions which fit the customer’s needs
Develop formal recommendations for presentation to management
Co-develop business case for the reformed processes
Provide updates to management regarding project deliverables and the implementation of the reformed processes
Actively participate in the development of the Hitachi CSS Process Transformation team, i.e., by refining the transformation methodology, exploring new opportunities and best market’s practices
