The Organization

Hitachi has established Centralized Shared Services (CSS) organization under Transformation Division. Objective is to transform the delivery of business operations across the Hitachi group. We have a mission to deliver business services efficiently and provide services which are highly valued by Hitachi businesses, our internal customers.

The Role

Working as a key member of the CSS Transformation Team, you will report to the Global CSS Leader for Hitachi. This role will work to develop the CSS Enabling Technology strategy, roadmap, standards and methodology AND execution. In addition to delivering Intelligent Automation and Analytics solutions within CSS and to the broader Hitachi organization involved in process transformation,

will also explore new innovative & emerging technology for potential use within CSS.

The CSS Tech Enablement Lead will also be responsible for cross-functional enabling technologies within Hitachi including (but not limited to) Case Management, Knowledge Management, Digital Adoption, Project Management, Process Management and Document management, ensuring technology related objectives of Hitachi are met and researching different enabling technology solutions.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Develop enabling technology strategy, design and roadmap for CSS

  • Work collaboratively with Hitachi and CSS Leadership to build an enabling technology framework for CSS

  • Work collaboratively with the Functional Service Delivery teams to deploy enabling technology programs

  • Work collaboratively with CSS Process Transformation Lead to ensure execution of strategy, solution review, rollout, and continuous improvement.

  • Work with Functions and Tower Leads to gather requirements, analyze, design, build, test and deploy automation solutions

  • Explore new innovative & emerging technologies

  • Manage CSS Technology enablement opportunities and demand

  • Define the tools and process to manage the deployment and measure the success of enabling technology programs

  • Conduct market and competitor research and benchmarking exercises to identify gaps in the CSS enabling technology.

  • Understand and shape leading and emerging practices for enabling technology based on industry trends and external market intelligence to proactively drive value and high performance for the CSS customers.

  • Develop the new CSS technology enablement team from scratch.

  • Provide leadership, direction, coaching, feedback, and, where appropriate, discipline to and through subordinate team members.
