Associate Contract Manager

Description

Hitachi STS is looking for a Associate Contract Manager to join its Project Delivery Team in Chennai and provide end-to-end support Chennai Metro 2 Project

Key accountabilities include

• Support Senior Contract Manager to establish and implement contractual processes and registers to track correspondence, variations, claims and disputes;
• Lead the preparation and submission of progress claims and negotiations with customers and clients;
• Support Project Delivery Team by notifying key stakeholders of contractual obligations in order to preserve contractual rights and entitlements and recommend strategies to mitigate risks.

• Support Senior Contract manager on practical, business-orientated advice to management, sales, finance, project management, procurement and supply chain management teams on contractual risks and issues;
• Support Senior Contract manager to develop and implement appropriate templates to ensure compliance with contractual obligations, including KPIs;

• Maintain the integrity of contract information and co-ordinate all aspects of the contract administration process, in accordance with appropriate Contract Management Plans and procedures, to meet organisational needs including management of registers for project correspondence, variations, claims etc
