The Role

Exp: 8-12 years, Min 5-6 years in DevOps Tools usage

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Designing, building, testing, automating, monitoring and supporting significant components within a modern digital service platform in production environments.
Design DevOps Strategy, Extensive use of DevOps tools
Producing designs that are scalable, resilient, efficient, secure and cost-effective.
Contributing to technical decisions and direction in a collaborative team environment, including architecture, estimation, product planning, user story/requirement creation.
Implementing modern Continuous Delivery processes for releasing software to production.
Applying industry best practices and patterns across infrastructure and application components e.g. security, elasticity, performance.
Using public cloudplatform(s) to solve business problems.
Applying configuration management,infrastructure provisioning, and container orchestration tooling to solve business problems.
Develop best of breed solutions.
Work in an Agile environment where you will be challenged and motivated.
Support and advocate Centre of Excellence to wider org
Introducing/suggesting new processes and techniques.
Demonstrate a strong commitment to Excellence

Technical Skills:

Experience is needed in DevOps, Github, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/Azure, architecting production grade solutions
Experienced Azure DevOps Engineer ready for a Senior role for setting up DevOps Strategy
Good exp in GitHub work flows management.
Exp in Monitoring tools Grafana/Prometheus/ELK/Observability framework,
Exp in Configuration management tools Ansible/Chef/Puppet.
Strong knowledge of automating and orchestrating workloads on AWS/Azure, Infrastructure automation using Terraform and automating cloud services
Hands-on experience in scripting with bash, PowerShell, Python, Terraform, Azure CLI
CI/ CD Management, CI/CD Automation pipelines & Exp in YAMLs
Manage the full release and operational process of Infrastructure as Code
Strong working understanding of networking, including load balancing and firewall methodologies
Good knowledge of application development using Agile, and DevOps best practices
Ability and desire to quickly pick up new technologies, languages and tools
Passionate about code quality and best practices an absolute must
