Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Supplier Quality Control Vehicles Assembly & Systems who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Pistoia - IT.

Accountabilities

  • Hitachi Rail STS S.p.A. SQE, assigned on SQC Vehicles Assembly & Systems department will execute the quality control activities of relating products, intended to feed the Hitachi Rail STS production sites, through the FAI process. FAI’s activities include both the preliminary stages of verification of technical preconditions, and on-site checks on the first piece, representative of the series.

  • Hitachi Rail STS S.p.A. SQE, assigned on SQC Vehicles Assembly & Systems department, will manage the monitoring and progress related to problem solving and failure analysis, to which the assigned suppliers must point, in case of major or repetitive product and process GNI.

  • The SQE of Vehicles Assembly & Systems Manager will support and cooperate with the external test team, necessary for preventive actions at the supplier’s site, and therefore for the H and W type tests planned on related MIP

Required Skills/Knowledge

  • Excellent propensity to teamwork, in order to pursue the assigned business objectives
  • Good propensity to build constructive cross-functional relationships within the business organization to which it belongs.
  • Excellent analytical and relational skills with external suppliers, located both nationally and internationally
  • Knowledge of special processes qualifications will represent a vantage on the evaluation;
  • Knowledge of HR engineering and manufacturing specifications, and also on International standards, thought part qualification activity process and then through Supplies FAI process;
  • Experience in support the assigned supplier in order to ensure the periodical process surveillance.
  • Knowledge of quality documentation (MIPs, declaration of conformity form, Qualification evidences, etc…).

Education/Qualifications

Engineering Degree or adequate experiance as per minimum 5 years on equivalent processes.

Languages
 

Fluent Knowledge of English (written & spoken).
