The Role

Due to growth an exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Parts Manager to join our busy Gunnedah branch. Reporting to the Branch Manager you will be responsible for the management of the Parts Department including budgets and P&Ls as well as maintaining strong housekeeping and safety standards across the supply chain.

To achieve this, you will need to:

  • Work with the After Sales and Major Projects Manager to identify parts and service labour growth opportunities within the region.
  • Work with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders to identify efficiency and cost down opportunities within own area or across business.
  • Ensure the effective operation and compliance of the Parts Department with company policy, procedures and quality requirements.
  • Ensure HCA employees and contractors comply with all WHS responsibilities and that a safety first culture is a consistent behavior within the department

To be successful, you will need:

  • Proven leadership skills in a similar environment where you have developed and mentored staff.
  • Prior experience with Mining Equipment in the mining industry or with a related OEM.
  • Appropriate Trade / Post Trade Qualifications and related Product Training.
  • Excellent business acumen with exposure to Project Management.
  • Demonstrated safety focus with a strong understanding of WHS Principles
