The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a highly motivated all-rounder to support our workshop and office in Mackay. In this position, you will coordinate workshop workflows and inventory, and provide administrative support to the branch. This role would suit someone who enjoys a fast-paced role with a lot of variety and the opportunity to provide support across several business functions.

Duties & Responsibilities

Reporting to the Branch Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

  • General reception duties, including answering phones, forwarding calls and taking messages, greeting visitors and contractors.
  • Receive invoices, delivery dockets, picking slips and ensuring accuracy for auditing.
  • Record management, including filing of invoices, delivery dockets, parts confirmations, freight documents, parts ordered/picked, scope of work documents, and test reports to appropriate project files, and archiving of closed project files.
  • Warehouse inventory support including coordination work orders, liaising with Stores colleagues, picking parts and stock from the warehouse, parts count and maintenance of inventory sheet.
  • Maintain training records and liaise with Training Manager to book training courses.
  • Workplace health and safety support, including coordination and submission of incident reports.

About You

To be considered for this position you will ideally have:

  • Experience using Microsoft suite essential, Pronto experience beneficial but not essential.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Demonstrated strong communication and organization skills at all levels of an organisation.
  • Ability to follow instructions and procedures, both written and verbal.
  • Able to work in busy conditions, subject to tight timeframes and with competing demands.
