Associate Signaling Functional Design Engineer

HITACHI RAIL is looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated  Associate Signaling Functional Design Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of administrative and strategic tasks. The position is based in Bangalore.

Mission: Deliver the production of assigned part of functional design of a Signalling project in accordance with industry and company standards.

Accountabilities:

Ensure the production of the assigned portion of functional design documentation
• Guarantee adequate reference is made to industry standards in the deliverables (e.g. CENELEC, AREMA, IEEE, IPC, etc.)
• Contribute to the gap analyses between customer requirements nd company products
• Contributing to functional design documentation including system requirements and architecture, interface control, scheme plans, control tables, block design, and analyses as appropriate
• Contribute to management of requirements relative to the functional design
• Contribute to the errors detection

Performance Criteria:

• Achievement of the delivery of design work packages on time according with schedule and planned budget
• Number of errors raised by Validation and Site tests for system and basic design measured against comparable projects
