POSITION SUMMARY:

The purpose of this position is to assist in scheduling of production and maintaining smooth workflow.  

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILIES:

  • Conduct all activities in a safe manner while adhering to all HEPI policies, compliance and change management structures.
  • Monitor progress of parts and components through various stages of manufacturing or remanufacturing.
  • Create production schedule for all remanufacturing and CNC departments as determined by available resources, process requirements and priorities.
  • Schedule repairs to follow requirements identified by the inspection and write up of components.
  • Work with planners and division leaders to coordinate part flow and staging of parts as they move through production.
  • Create / Maintain production performance reports for review by management.
  • Assist in the resolution of production issues.
  • Assist in maintaining and improvement of BOM’s, Work Instruction and Scope of Work documents.
  • Work with all company department personnel to streamline the operation and response to customer demand.
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • One to two years of experience in manufacturing or equipment repair required
  • Education and/or training in manufacturing processes required
  • Great attitude and work ethic required
  • Excellent organization, time management and communication skills required.
  • Competency and ability to work with ERP systems and Microsoft Office software preferred.
  • Previous experience in a Planning / Scheduling role preferred.
